Built in the late 60`s to the early 70`s as a fully functional weekend recreational retreat or better known simply as a “brothel!” The spelling "la Grange" is French and is spelt with a small l and a capital G - "la Grange." Strangely enough, its translates as she barn, but the la refers to female.

The property is so private and secure, that the keys are actual jail style locks, and to enable the locks to be re-keyed for insurance purposes the current owners had to have the locks sent to Tasmania to have them altered, as no one on the mainland of Australia could alter the locks, making the property secure and very hush-hush.
