Built in the late 60`s to the early 70`s as a fully functional weekend recreational retreat or better known simply as a “brothel!” The spelling "la Grange" is French and is spelt with a small l and a capital G - "la Grange." Strangely enough, its translates as she barn, but the la refers to female.
